Director at Clinic Services, Bridget Francisco, discusses LLA Therapy's plan for helping to prevent illness during the winter months and beyond.
I am sure everyone is aware of the brutal flu that is spreading currently. No one wants to be sick, or even worse, have a sick child. As you know, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy is fun for our pediatric patients It is fun because we have so many fun toys and equipment to play with!
At LLA we want to do our best to prevent spread germs at all of our office locations. Therefore we are implementing an extra deep cleaning and disinfecting process on all of our toys and treatment tables that will be occurring weekly at our Fairlawn, Medina, and Hudson offices. At LLA we care about the health and well being at everyone who walks through our doors, so this protocol will occur in addition to the daily disinfection procedures and precautions that we do on a daily basis.
Friendly sickness reminders:
- If your child has a fever or is sick, we understand. Please call and cancel in a timely manner and we will reschedule at a later date.
- Please utilize hand sanitizer upon entering and leaving our office locations: Hand sanitizer can be found in the waiting room at all three office locations.
- Please practice good hand washing habits and sickness courtesies: Make sure children are doing their best to cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing and that hands are regularly sanitizied and/or washed before playing in waiting rooms.
