During this season of Thanksgiving, we want to
thank the parents and caregivers for their tireless support of their family
member's therapy needs, for their faith and confidence in our ability to help,
and for providing us with the opportunity to become a part of their amazing
lives. The dedication they show by
bringing them to us week after week and following through with home programming
is an outward sign of their love and care for them and is so greatly
admired. We are so grateful to be a part
of your support team and want to thank you for all of the kindnesses you have
extended to us throughout the year.
Here are some personal messages from the staff at LLA
Therapy
Jeanine Abel, Speech Therapist: I am so thankful for
each and every family I see. It is so rewarding for me to do what I love and
for you to see your children grow each and every day. I am so happy that I get
to be a part of your journey. Thank you so much for working hard and doing what
you do!
Susan Boose, Scheduling Coordinator: I
am so grateful to have the privilege to work with such wonderful families and
co-workers who truly put a child's needs first. Every day, our staff and
families work together to enable "our" children to do more than
anyone thought possible. It is beyond amazing to see such love and dedication
on a daily basis.
Grace Bosze, Speech Therapist: The
holiday season is such an easy time to get caught up in the festivities and
forget to reflect on what is truly important. I am so very thankful for all of
my families I work with. A special thanks
for parents and the role you take in bringing your child to therapy each week
and all the work you do at home to encourage their improvement outside of the
office. Thank you for taking such an active role! For the kids, I am so
thankful for the energy they bring to each session and their creativity. There
is never a dull moment at the LLA offices and I am so thankful for that!
Vicky Broderick, Clinic Coordinator: I am grateful
for all of the amazing parents I get the opportunity to work with; especially
those that are so dedicated to helping their children succeed. Billing and
scheduling are not always easy things to deal with and I am always thankful for
the kindness and patience that our families show to me. Working together is a
beautiful thing! Getting to see the kids’ sweet little smiles on a daily basis
is the cherry on top!
Donna Conti, Speech Therapist: I want to express my deepest gratitude to our
families and the children we serve. I
truly feel blessed by the opportunity to share in your child's development and
to get to know and love these wonderful young people. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for
your kindness and support. You are the
best!
Kelly Dugan, Graduate Intern/Soon-to-be Speech
Therapist: I am grateful for the families and children I have met throughout my
time as an intern with LLA Therapy during graduate school. The dedication I see
come in and out of the offices and schools has expanded my love for my future
profession. The children's open minds and strong work ethic mixed with the
passion behind the parents' eyes continue to inspire me. Thanks to the families
and children of LLA Therapy for always sharing a good laugh and putting a smile
on my face!
Bridget Francisco, Speech Therapist: I
am thankful for the many families that I have encountered over the years.
They are much more than just "clients", they are more like
family.
I am grateful that they trust me to play such an important role in supporting
them and their children during very personal moments of sadness, but more
often, triumphs.
I am thankful that because of these children and their families, I strive to be
a better therapist, because I want them to have success and confidence.
I am grateful for those families who allow me to remain a part of their lives,
even after therapy ends. I love hearing about their child's journey as
they become young adults.
I am thankful to be surrounded by other professionals at LLA Therapy who share
my passion and teach me something new every day.
I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
Matthew Hagge, Speech Therapist: I am very grateful
for the families that I get to work with on a daily basis. All of my families
work so hard at home and are dedicated to seeing their children improve. That
is incredibly rewarding! Also, thanks to all the children I see for having
wonderful senses of humor and making me laugh all the time! It makes work so
much fun!
Mallory Hawley, Speech Therapist: I am so thankful
to all of my families! They have made the commitment to help their child achieve
the full potential with speech and language. They are the best cheerleaders and
work so hard to continue the progress we make in therapy. To the kids I get to
work with; thank you for always teaching me new things (how else would I have
discovered Bubble Guppies), keeping me on my toes, and brightening my day no
matter what!! Thank you all for being a part of my life!
Rhonda McGuire, Office Coordinator: I know all of us
feel we have the best job at LLA but I am the one with truly the best job. I am lucky enough to sit at the front desk
and greet all of our children, clients and parents when they come in for their
appointments. I can’t tell you how much I
enjoy interacting with these exceptional children and their amazing parents. I
am so thankful I have been allowed this opportunity to actually witness how our
therapists are able to change lives with their skills and training and how
combining Speech, Occupational and Physical therapy has made miraculous results
in so many of our children and young people.I want to say Thank you to our
parents, therapists and staff who are so committed to finding and providing the
absolute best care they possibly can for these children.God Bless and Happy Holidays
Troy McClowry, Speech Therapist/Owner LLA Therapy: I
am so thankful to go to work at LLA Therapy each and every day. Not only do I get to spend time with the best
staff on the planet but I get to meet incredible families that teach me more
than I could ever teach them.
Carrie Ravine, Speech Therapist: I am thankful for
being able to come to work and start and end each day with a smile on my
face. The families that we work with are
the BEST! And they make my job incredibly fun and rewarding. I love working with my clients and their
families. Seeing them each week, we
really get to know each other and I am thankful for the bond I have with every
one of them!
Emily Sandish, Occupational Therapist: I feel
blessed and truly thankful to have the opportunity to meet and work with so
many great families. It is an honor being a part of your lives and watching
your children grow and develop in our time together. A special thank you to all
the kiddos I see for always keeping me on my toes, encouraging me to be
creative, and always reminding me to have fun!
Megan Shumaker, Physical Therapist: I'm so grateful
for all the students we serve in the Stow Schools! I enjoy going to work
because of these kids and the staff we work with. To the paraprofessionals that
implement our programming, thank you!! Seeing the independence that is gained
because of it is a blessing. We couldn't do what we do without the staff
standing, walking and encouraging the kids to take risks on the days we aren't
servicing them. I'm grateful for the team of therapists I work with and the
support we give each other. Seeing children take steps Independently, learn to
walk with their new braces, negotiate stairs safely, propel a wheelchair and
stay in line with friends, stand upright
for the first time, assist with transfers
or drive a power wheelchair using their head, are just a few of the many
things that bring a smile to my face. This and many other achievements makes me
want to work that much harder at helping them be the most successful they can
be. Most of all thank you parents/caregivers that take care of these children!
Every day brings new joys and challenges, things that you never thought you
would face but you remain their constant that knows them inside and out! You
support and cheer them on through it all and for this we are so grateful!
Teal Simmons, Speech Therapist: My career is one of the very first
things that I think of when I am being thankful. Becoming a speech therapist
has always been my dream and it has been amazing to be "living the
dream" in a literal sense. Having a job that does not feel like "work"
is amazing. Every day, I look forward to seeing all of my clients and I enjoy
the time I spend with them and their families. To my clients of all ages, I am
thankful for your determination, cooperation, effort, creativity, personality,
resilience, and your uniqueness. I am thankful for all of the things that you
teach me. You all make my job and my life SO interesting! To the families of my
clients, I am thankful for the same things. I am also thankful for the endless
efforts to do the best things for your children and the support, care, and
dedication to help them excel and to reach their full potential. I am thankful
to you for putting your trust in me and others as therapists to help you
navigate what can often be a difficult journey. I am thankful for the willingness
to try new things, ask questions, seek answers, and advocate for our wonderful
clients. To my clients and their families, I am thankful to you for being the
reason for my job and a huge reason for the happiness in my life. You all are a
blessing! Happy Thanksgiving!
We
wish you a wonderful holiday season!
