Preparing for Thanksgiving Part 8

This is part 8 of a 10 part series in preparation for Thanksgiving by our parent contributor, Beth Lattime. You can find part 7 here.

Are you ready for some football?

The turkey has been eaten and the family gathers for hours of football. Am I right? If so, are you prepared to handle this for ALL OF YOUR CHILDREN…NOT JUST THE ONE WITH DISABILITIES?? Portable DVD players are a fantastic purchase. I have a big library of DVDs. I ask my daughter to consider DVDs that she likes that she knows that baby bro will also be interested in watching. A little bit of technology may buy you the added time to then catch up with Aunt Samantha and Uncle Josh who wanted your attention around the dinner table earlier.
