LLA Therapy wants your kids to Learn, Laugh, and Achieve!
LLA Therapy in Hudson will be hosting a number of summer camps throughout the summer of 2016 and we want you to join! The camps will be focusing on different developmental areas for kids. See below for more information:
Fine Motor Readiness
When: Fridays starting June 10th through August 12th
Who: For campers, ages 3-5, who need support developing fine motor skills
What: Fun and creative multi-sensory and motor activities designed to improve independence with using writing utensils for pre-writing skills; self help skills such as buttons, zippers, and snaps; hand-eye coordination skills like cutting or catching a ball.
Wiggly Writers
When: Fridays starting June 10th through August 12th
Who: For campers, grades K-8, who need to improve printing skills.
What: Campers will address letter formation, spacing, and line placement while working on improved posture and core strength which is necessary for good printing.
The Lost Art of Cursive Handwriting
When: Fridays starting June 10th through August 12th
Who: For campers, ages 8-11, who are beginning or refining their cursive handwriting skills.
What: Campers will focus on forming cursive upper and lower case letters as well as connecting them to form words and sentences. Additionally, posture and core strengthening will be addressed.
School Readiness Camp
When: Mondays starting June 6th through August 15th
Who: For campers, ages 5-7, who are preparing to start school
What: This camp provides children the opportunity to use and practice skills all summer long in the areas of socialization, language, reading, writing, motor skills, and creative arts and music.
