In the mood for some DIY gifts this season? Here are some great ideas for some simple-to-create presents that the whole family can help make.
Sharpie Mugs: Need a gift for a coffee lover or tea
guru? Pick up some mugs, sharpies(oil-based Sharpies work the best) and letter
stickers from your local dollar/craft store. Position the stickers on the mug
to create your desired saying. Let your child make dots or draw over the
letters. Remove the letters to see your finished look! Finally, place your mugs
in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes to set the design. Hand wash only
recommended. Check out these and other great ideas here: www.goodandmessy.com/

Monogram Photo Collage: This project is bound to add
a special look to anyone’s home! Take a trip to your local craft store and
purchase wooden/cardboard letter, Mod Podge and sponge brush then get those
family photos ready. Your family will have a blast looking through photos to
pick for the project. Photos printed on regular computer paper work best. Let
your child help cut out the photos and paste them using Mod Podge - great fine
motor skills! Check out this and other ideas here: transforminghome.blogspot.com
Beaded Bowl: All you need is a glass bowl, cooking
spray and Perler Beads (can be cheaply purchased at your local craft store). See more here: meaningfulmama.com
Dish Towels: Grab some flat texture dish towels,
fabric paint and your little ones’ hands and feet to make these holiday dish
towels. Your child will love getting to be messy while making these! See more ideas like this here: letkidscreate.blogspot.com
